Our Story

Location

Wagga Wagga Winery is set on 17 acres (6.8ha) and is 13 kms east of Wagga Wagga on the Oura Road.

Wagga Wagga is located 4½ to 5 hours from both Sydney and Melbourne and is a major city in NSW. It is the largest inland city in NSW and ''capital'' of the Riverina Region.

Vines

VineyardLocated 200 metres from the Murrumbidgee River Wagga Wagga Winery's first vines were planted in 1987 with more planting in 1990, 1995, 2000 and 2001.

Varieties on the vineyard include Shiraz, Cabernet Savignon, Cabernet Franc, Touirga, Chardonnay and Riesling which have been planted in the fertile grey to chocolate soil with clay sand and gravel below.

Wines

Harvest Time We produce in our wine list a Shiraz, a Cabernet Savignon blended with Cab Franc and Touirga. We also use the Touirga for our Port. Other varieties that we sell include Chardonnay, Reisling, Lambrusco and a sparkling white.
